Environmental sustainability is a critical factor for public bodies, businesses and communities alike. Since its inception, NIMTECH has been finding innovative ways of helping companies to improve their environmental performance whilst simultaneously achieving substantial reductions in their operating costs.
As our Projects section explains, we have developed a wide range of publicly funded programmes and annual events that promote sustainability, and we are currently managing a number of environmental programmes in collaboration with local authorities, universities and other bodies. As the chairman of the Combined Heat & Power Association, our chairman, Lord Wade of Chorlton, takes a close personal interest in the subject, as does our managing director, David Bowker, who acts as a specialist project adviser on several ongoing environmental programmes.
In recent years, working on a variety of EU funded projects, our staff and partners have helped small and medium sized businesses to reduce their operating costs by approximately 10 million Euros, and we continue to develop new bids and new support projects to ensure that increasing numbers of companies recognise that sustainability really pays.
